Stages

Uclusion relies on understanding a job’s lifecycle.

Stages let you and Uclusion understand the state of a job’s collaboration at all times.

Assigned

This stage is for jobs that are assigned but not in progress. Job approval can occur here and approvals will expire after a configurable amount of time in this stage.

Changing a job’s assignments will remove all approvals and return the job to Assigned.

You can also specify required approvers that will be sent a persistent notification

Assistance Needed

Opening a blocking issue, question, or suggestion will automatically move a job to this stage. Resolving these comments moves the job back.

Accepted

Only an assignee can move the job into Accepted and then a notification for a progress report or new estimated completion date is sent once past the current estimate. Entering a progress report sends to the group so that they can reply or review.

Tasks Complete and Not Doing

Tasks Complete stage indicates the job is not actively being worked on but may still change after feedback. There will be no further notifications for progress reports but they can still be open - for instance to indicate the state of job’s deployment. In order to move to this stage all tasks must be resolved. Moving to Tasks Complete also sends a notification.

Not Doing jobs are visible only in the workspace archives moving to Not Doing automatically resolves all open comments.

Backlog

Unassigning a jobs automatically moves it to this stage. A Ready to Start backlog job will send a notification requesting assignment.
