Stages
Stages let you and Uclusion understand the state of a job’s collaboration at all times.
Approvable
This stage is for jobs that are assigned but not approved or waiting on completion of other jobs. Approvals added in this stage will expire after a configurable amount of time.
Changing a job’s assignments will remove all approvals and return the job to this stage.
You can also specify required approvers that will be sent a persistent notification.
Debatable
Jobs with a blocking issue, question, or suggestion will display in this stage. Ready to Assign jobs also display here and in the backlog.
Doable
Only an assignee can move the job into Doable and then a notification for a progress report or new estimated completion date is sent once past the current estimate. A job that goes a workspace configurable number of days without an estimate automatically moves back to Approvable.
So a job cannot silently rot in Doable: either its estimate is current, a progress report was just shared, or the job visibly drops out of in progress.
Entering a progress report sends to the view so that they can reply or review.
Reviewable
Reviewable stage indicates the job is not actively being worked on but may still change after feedback. In order to move to this stage all tasks must be resolved. Moving to Reviewable prompts for creation of a progress report and that report may gather more feedback. If a task is opened the job will automatically change stage.
The number of jobs visible in the swimlanes for Reviewable is configurable:
Skippable
Moving to Skippable automatically resolves all open comments. Skippable jobs are visible only in the backlog.
