Assigning

Assigning a job in Uclusion means it shows up in the swimlane of the assignee, only an assignee can accept the job, and the assignee will receive a notification to accept or reject the assignment.

Assignees are automatically notified of job changes and must provide progress reports or an estimated completion date in the Doable stage.

Tasks within a job do not have individual assignees. All tracking happens at the job level so tasks are just the responsibility of all assignees.

For an AI-authored question, the current human assignees are also the primary responders. A primary reply or option vote makes the question answerable for the AI workflow; the job unblocks only when the AI then resolves that answered question. Input from anyone else is retained as advisory context, and reassignment immediately changes who counts as primary.

Collaborators

Everyone who votes on a job or creates a comment within it is a collaborator on that task. Collaborators from outside the job’s view can also be added and will receive notifications.
